Crescent Pizza Pockets

These pizza pockets are so easy to make and quick to whip up. Often this is what we will make instead of ordering pizza because it is cheaper and most likely a little better for us. Enjoy!

Chicken Parmesan

I remember making this dish with friends when I was in college, an attempt at something “fancy”. I am not a fan of cooking anything too expensive OR that takes a really long time. To this day, I make this and it makes our small teacher/seminary budget go a little bit farther.

Almond Punch

I absolutely LOVE this light punch! I had it first at a friend’s wedding three or four years ago, and when I got engaged to Tyler I emailed her to ask for the recipe. We call it “Wedding Punch” at home because several batches were made for our wedding. Everyone raved about it! I often make it for showers (wedding, baby, etc.) as well. For a friend’s baby shower who was having a sweet baby girl (Miss Wrigley Grace!), I used cherry 7Up instead of just plain Sprite to give it a sweet rosy hue. It tasted great too!

Irish Spaghetti

Irish Spaghetti is an everyday favorite in our house. My wonderful Mother-in-Law used to make this for her family when Tyler was a kid. He said he believes that it was her mother’s recipe, but that is as much back story as we have right now. (I should probably do more searching on the history of the recipe, but that will come another day.) Either way, Tyler and I love this dish, not only for the hints of nostalgia it brings to mind, but because it is a hearty and unique way to eat spaghetti.

It is really simple and inexpensive to make as well! What a bonus!

I am making this later this week, after I do I will post a picture!

No Bake Nutella Cheesecake

I was browsing on Pinterest…hmmm, many of my posts and stories may start this way. Anyway, I was browsing on Pinterest and found a delicious Nutella Cheesecake recipe here. It was great! I already had all of the ingredients on hand, so I didn’t have to go to the store, which I appreciate. Also, it seriously took me less than 10 minutes to put together and ready to serve! Awesome!

No Bake Nutella Cheesecake

Anyway, I did do some revisions to the recipe, so this is what I used and did to make this tasty treat!
